Solving the issue of difficult to compact garbage and rejected materials:

Delitek NL was called upon by a valued customer with Delitek Garbage Compactors installed. The compactors do the daily job very well but the customer has a lot of large and difficult to compact garbage and refused materials such as:

• Dunnage and small pieces of wood, broken pallets;
• Large hard plastics and pvc pipes
• Polycarbonate packaging materials;
• PET bottles and jars;
• Empty drums from machinery spaces;
• E-waste, small metal cans and aluminium;

Solution : Use a DT-575SR Garbage Shredder with the DT-500MC Waste Compactor

We suggested to complement the dry waste handling plant with an Offshore Waste Shredder Model DT-575SR. A Shredder – when used as a pre-treatment step before compaction – reduces the volume with 90 up to 95% of above materials. With a  powerful low speed, high torsion block even the most difficult materials are shredded into fine pieces. That also permanently eliminates re-expansion.
