Delitek Netherlands & Norway congratulate Vroon on their first two MPSVs launch in China

Vroon’s first two multi-purpose platform-supply vessels (MPSV), VOS Pride and VOS Prime were launched at Fujian South East Shipyard (FSES) in Fuzhou, China.

VOS Pride and VOS Prime are the first two in a series of ten sister vessels, ordered during 2012 and 2013 by Vroon Offshore Services.

All ten MPSVs have full (under-deck) supply capabilities, that include stainless-steel tanks for the carriage of methanol, but also provide accommodation and work space for up to 40 client staff.

The vessel concept is based on a free deck space of 720 sqm, which can also be equipped with a walk-to-work system or active heave-compensation crane, while leaving ample space for a variety of extra services.

VOS Pride and VOS Prime are expected to be delivered by FSES in the spring of 2015, followed by four sister vessels later in 2015 and an additional four in 2016.
