Delitek Netherlands & Norway congratulate Vroon on their first two MPSVs launch in China By Offshore Energy Vroon’s first two multi-purpose platform-supply vessels (MPSV), VOS Pride and VOS Prime were launched at Fujian South East Shipyard (FSES) in Fuzhou, China. VOS Pride and VOS Prime are the first two in a series of ten sister vessels, ordered during 2012 and 2013 by Vroon Offshore Services. All ten MPSVs have full (under-deck) supply capabilities, that include stainless-steel tanks for the carriage of methanol, but also provide accommodation and work space for up to 40 client staff. Delitek NL, delivered another Offshore Certified Waste Container A tailor made high specification Offshore waste container was delivered to customer for installation on offshore structure. The waste container is certified to DNV 2.7-1:2006 and EN 12079-1:2006 and was built from scratch within 6 weeks. Due to the location and harsh conditions the container has special anti-corrosive coating to ISO 12944 C5M specification, insulation and ventilation. In addition, due to the purpose and operating area, an anti-spillage floor including sump reservoir and flange were included. By now we should know the stats on plastics in the sea, but for those of you who don't know here it is again: 206 kg  of plastic waste is dumped in the ocean every second by us. 60 tot 90% of waste that goes into the sea is plastic. 1 million seabirds and 100,000 turtles die due to plastic waste in the sea.
